Training Journey

Though ‘non-traditional’ certainly describes the timing, ‘multi-disciplinary’ better captures the complexity of my training journey.

As I continue to indulge my passion for learning in diverse fields (like neuroscience, medicine, quantum physics, psychology, mysticism, systems theory, epigenetics, energy psychology, nutrition, technology, and business), my clients are exposed to both a wide perspective and synthesis of practice in my work.

I didn’t begin traditional education in earnest until I was 41:

  • BA in Psychology – University of Colorado (1992)
  • Graduate Certificate in Advanced Computer Programming – University of Denver (1996)
  • BS-RN Accelerated Track – Regis University (Screech! …took a U-turn and quit just before finishing this degree in 2003)
  • MA in Counseling – Regis University (2008)

Then gained some additional professional certifications:

  • Clinical Hypnotherapist – Institute of Alchemical Hypnotherapy™  (2001)
  • National Certified Counselor – NBCC (2008)
  • Board Certified Coach –  NBCC (2012)

To practice under laws and ethics of my profession in the state of Colorado:

  • Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC, Colorado – 2012)
  • Registered Psychotherapist (DORA, Colorado – 1994)

Yet it’s hundreds of hours in my training journey that truly source my expertise:
